I don't much like Christmas music or Christmas albums usually. So this year, at the request of Fisty Kendal and Peter Hoggarth, we finally got around to doing something about it.
I invited a number of Third Kind artists, that hadn't previously had tracks on The Long Halloween Mixtape, to submit songs or recordings. I also asked a few artists who in 2017 released some of my favourite albums of the year including Philinois (who made 'Stale Green Light'), Dakota Blue (who released 'Rodeo Knife') and fellow LA artist Lisa Sonoda (who released 'Clearing' on Never Anything Records).
Mock Church make a welcome return to Third Kind with a new version of Bible Camp. Linden Pomeroy and Erm both offer some winter moodiness ahead of their 2018 Third Kind albums. Dark Half's David Dilliway offers a sparkly polar track from his melodic EM/spacerock project Crater93. Hattie Cooke and Mudd Corp both offer their first official track releases since their 2016 Third Kind albums whilst Erm & Nickname temporarily dispel with their current acid-folk sound for a return to their jokey song style of the 90's.
Thanks for your support, we hope you have a nice Christmas.
